SOMMELIERS FOR CONSUMERS "AUSTRIA´S GRÜNER VELTLINER"
THE BIGGEST TASTING OF A GREAT GRAPE! The World´s Best Sommeliers tasted our Grüner Veltliner:
Grüner Veltliner Traisental DAC Klassik 2007
Andreas Larsson: Floral nose, medium intensity with stone fruit and grapefruit. Nice structure, ripe fruit, juicy acidity, some citrus notes and long finish.
Dominique Laporte: Pale yellow green, rather weak colour expression. Well expressed bouquet with diverse white fruit and citrus notes. Agreeable, straightforward and very easy to approach, refreshed by note of CO² as part of an attractive dimension on the palate with fine persistence. Lean and well made.
Hervé Pennequin: Very pale yellow green. Light, fresh, elegant with minerals, fresh mint, stone fruit, pear, persistent bouquet. Unctuous in mouth, great support of flavors by the acidity, quite long, good ripeness and balance.
Mark Slater: Light green. Moderate richness on the bouquet. Very clean throughout, balance of acidity and fruit is well done. Pleasant, enticing, quaffing wine.
Roger Dagorn: Pale yellow with green hint. Recessed nose with hint of lanolin and fresh herbs. Dry, yet fruity on palate. Fresh with good acidity, medium finish. Light and pleasant.Grüner Veltliner Traisental DAC Reserve 2007
